I am thankful to find such an excellent watch, clock, and jewelry store! We took our son's watch in for repair -- the Thomas the Train band had broken. They fixed it for no cost and said they try to do what they can to encourage kids to wear watches! Wow!! They have wonderful customer service -- in fact the best customer service I've seen in the local area! And, they have a wide assortment of clocks and jewelry for sale. We will definitely return for clock repairs (and jewelry gifts), and now family members plan to take their clocks to the shop for repair as well! Well done John Alabaster Watch & Clock!!

I have a clock that's been in the family for generations. I mistakenly jammed the mechanism and John Alabaster fixed it at no charge. It's good to have the clock back where it belongs and good to know there is a repair shop nearby that can take care of my timepieces.

I don't write many reviews, but wanted to give a shout out to John Alabaster Watch & Clock. Finding good, independent watchmakers is increasingly difficult, so John Alabaster is a real gem. My understanding from looking at their website and from other reviews is that John Alabaster ran the shop himself starting in 1971 and sometime in the last few years passed the business on to his former apprentice. The current team is great! They performed a relatively minor fix on my Omega Speedmaster Automatic, but did so in a timely fashion and at an extremely competitive price. Omega recently serviced this watch for $750, but left a hand loose. John Alabaster were able to correct their mistake at less than a tenth of that price. Thanks, guys!
